Dining Services Manager 

AtCedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “CelebratingLife Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then we help themachieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic Dining Services Manager for our Northville community.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services and Sous Chef to execute daily meal services for all residents and guests.
•  May serve as the opening and/or closing manager as well as manager on duty.
• Lead team members through all service types including fine dining table services, café and buffet. Leads all special event setup, service, and breakdown. Responsible for daily room services as well as all dining room operations.
• Assists with timely resolution of dining room service concerns.
• May occasionally prepare, present and attend resident and management meetings. 
• Ensures proper service and training for maximum productivity and high standards control.
• Ensures team members are in the proper, neat, clean, pressed uniform including name tag and safety shoes at all times.
• Plans daily dining room set-up, sections, service and side-work based on resident meal counts. 
• Establishes and maintains a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all dining room areas within the building. 
• Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline dining team members.
• Provide server training and follow up to maintain a professional work force. 

• Associates degree in Culinary or Food Service Management from four-year college, university or trade school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the capacity of club manager, kitchen manager, catering or banquet manager
• Senior living or healthcare experience preferred
• Fine dining experience a plus
